COME AND JOIN THE FUN!
The Women's West Island Basketball Program (W.W.I.B.P.) began in September 2001.
We are a Non-Profit Organization.
We play 3 seasons: Fall, Winter and Spring.
This is for women only. Ages 18 and over. (Ages vary , our youngest player is 21 and our oldest is over 50)
This is pick-up style basketball (it's not a league).
We don't have refs or score-keepers.
Whoever shows up that night, splits up into teams and we play man on man. (pinnies supplied)
We play for 20 minutes with a five minute break in between games, subbing in players every few minutes.
We usually have a short warm-up before we start playing.
Everyone who plays, has played at one time or another.
It's for fun and exercise, but it can be slightly competitive at times (also for fun).
Everyone is welcome to go out for a beer/beverage afterwards.

 

SCHEDULE

The Fall Session has 13 games total.

It runs from September 17 to December 10, 2009 at BEACONSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL

NOTE: Games on SEPT 24, OCT 22 AND NOV 26 will be played  at LAKESIDE ACADEMY High School - 5050 Sherbrooke St. , Lachine

 WEEKLY - EVERY THURSDAY
from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

 
HOW MUCH?
 The More You Play, The Less You Pay!
  • $110.00 for full-time players.
  • Full-time players will also get $5 for every new player they bring out.
  • Part-time players pay $15 per game for their 1st four games and $12 for game 5, 6 & 7.
    Any game thereafter will be $10.00.

    NOTE: A $30 deduction will be given the following season to a player who missed 2 or less games and signs up again as a full-time player.
